Maybe he's talking about all the pop-ups and whatever, which is really bad...
The last time I clicked a link, and I have the habit of opening in a new tab, I was logged into "www.final4ever.com" and the link was actually a link to another page on this forum, but I believe the redirect was from "final4ever.com" which I wasn't logged into, so tons of garbage opened up - cookie confirmations and post submissions which I manually verify each one if the domain is not in my list. This caused my already over-loaded browser to come to a screeching halt.
This really sucks.
First of all, why do links in the same domain need redirects?
Second, why all those suspicious JavaScript post submissions when cookies are blocked?
(This is why I don't like XMLHttpRequest and Ajax because it's just becoming another way to take advantage of users, to get around cookie and ad blocking).
[Edit: I don't remember exactly what happened, and I'd rather not try it again right now, so I'm going by memory of several days ago. Also if you do a Quick Edit it will automatically parse links that weren't originally parsed, while I'm remembering that]
